Novel Multifunctional Plant Protein Ingredients with Bioprocessing


The BIOPROT project brings together 4 partners distributed in 3 countries, Finland, Italy and Turkey.

The BIOPROT aims  to develop novel protein enriched bran and faba bean ingredients, which have high potential to be used in several food categories.

The BIOPROT project will  contribute to the competitiveness of European grain and legumes production, particularly wheat bran and faba bean, and corresponding processing industry by providing knowledge and tools for targeted processing of foods of high protein quality. The project will also address the challenge to combine food nutritional value with high sensory performance.
